BENEFIT OF NEVR

NEVR has implementing tools such as SMS, online mapping and early warning signals to communities to facilitate the speed and reach of information gathered by community-based monitors. Monitors were trained to send reports via SMS as well as hard copy, which feeds into a public website. The sites mapped each incident down to the street level, where possible, and by category of the incident, providing an overview of conflict dynamics to stakeholders and the public.
